MAZDAN MATHRAS AND MEDITATIONS is an audio counterpart to ORIGINAL MAGIC: RITUALS AND INITIATIONS OF THE PERSIAN MAGI by Stephen Flowers. The book contains a curriculum involving both silent mediation practices and the recitation of mathras (mantras) in the Avestan language. This album is intended to assist with both of these aspects of the curriculum: it contains recitations of all of the Avestan mathras used in the ORIGINAL MAGIC curriculum, as well as instrumental pieces which can be used as background music for the meditations and to time your meditations. However, the album was not intended to be only a practical tool, but also to be mood-setting and pleasant to listen to.
